Adobe After Effects : Layers in AE



Adobe After Effects Tutorial on Layers in After Effects:

Basically like Photoshop, After Effects too had some default layers used in it. They are:

  1. Solid Layer (Ctrl +Y)
  2. Adjustment Layer (Ctrl + Alt + Y)
  3. Text Layer (Ctrl + T)
  4. Null Object (Ctrl +Shift +Alt+Y)
  5. Shape Layer
  6. Light (Ctrl +Shift+Alt+L)
  7. Camera (Ctrl+Shift+Alt+C)
All the Layers are explained in this video tutorial except Lights and Camera Layer as they are used in the 3d Compositions. They will be later explained when the 3d Compsition is explained.
